"Be My Savoir Tonight" (the song you hear) was the last song I recorded with him. I (Christopher J. Wauben) wrote the words, music and played rhythm Guitar. My friend Nikko sang it. Doug played Bass Guitar and Produced it. The song was recorded in 1990 at Doug's Center Port NY Shoreline Recording Studio (in his basement). Because what you are hearing came from a very, very old demo tape it has a lot of HISS and low volume . But its a good tune just the same.
The song was written about me reaching out to Former girlfriend Kim Cavanagh for moral support after I had broken up with Jayme Erikson in my Junior Year in High School.
For over a decade I did not have a copy of the song, because I lost my own last copy of the demo tape. Thanks to an old high school friend on Facebook "Bobby Grinewich" who had a copy and transered it over to mp3 and sent it to me. Thank you Bobby!!!
Anyway below is a picture of me around the time Doug and I were working together. I was 17 years old. Thats actually a guitar Doug let me barrow for the photo shoot.
