Part of the Problem today is that very few people have a good understanding of how our Nation was started, by whom and how exactly our Government really works. These days most people get their political and civics education via news paper, television and other media outlets.

The Problem with that, is most media sources are biased in one way or another (with the exception of very few)
which inturn gives people a false education of the truth of very important issues and is sometimes down right misleading and completely not true.

To know how our Government works is probably the most important thing you will ever learn. Being that so many people choose not to care is the reason for so many problems in society today. So aside from our website which is a civics education in its self, we are planning to kick off a variety of civics classes this fall (which you will be able to watch via our website. In the mean time you can check out different features on our web-site and get a good civics education.

One of thing we have done in the past is organize and carry environmental clean ups. The Inspiration to do this was a Woodsy Owl community clean up event that I(Christopher J. Wauben) at age 5 took part in. Now if such an event can have such a lasting and positive impact on myself, I imagine the same could be done if I carried on the tourch of the mission of community and other environmental clean up operartions.

   The absolute truth is this, if we take care of mother earth than mother earth will take care of us, but if we abuse it the than we will suffer the effects and further more lead our own species into extinction. Its something we can not ignore and must strive to learn more about.

   The other thing we must remember is that people are a product of their own environment, so if you live in a dirty, litter filled, drug infested, crime ridden neighborhood your mind set suffers and your mentality is different than it would be if the environment you lived in was clean, safe and more pleasant to live in.

Alot of what we are depending on and hoping to do is set a trend to create a domino effect through in the not so clean neighborhoods in America. We hope to promote and raise up the leaders young and old to start cleaning up thier streets and remembering what Woodsy Owl use to say "Give a Hoot Don't Polute"

    Civics, Character and Environmental Education go hand and hand. Alot of people see things we want to change in our government, but tend to forget we actually already have the proper means in our system to do so. However the most popular and least effective is protesting.

   If you educate your self on the facts (not hearsay) of how our government works you can make and bring about a change. Remeber the word petition and the saying "the Pen is Mightier than the Sword" this should point you in the right direction.

The first lesson in our character education is our Motto: "Be Wise, Be Kind, Be Civiled" if you carry those words in your head through out the day and also of course practice them, you will already be a better person than most.

The second lesson will be on the up coming pages of this website as well as an up coming book being written to be out in June or July 2002 titled "Be Wise, Be Kind, Be Civiled" which will feature chapters on law, proper behavior, edicit, health and the importance of striving to be a better human being everyday of your life.
